Floripa Cabana: Your Personal Retreat

Floripa Cabana is located on Santa Catarina Island, in southern Brazil. If you’ve never heard of it, you’re not alone. Until recently, this island was Brazil’s best kept secret. Yet over the past few years, “Floripa”, as the place is usually called, has received considerable coverage in the International press. Google both names for a list of articles.

The cabana is actually a spacious studio apartment, situated behind a private home. The décor is modern and casual. Original Brazilian, Balinese, and Peruvian artwork enhance the space, as do tall and wide sliding glass doors, which invite the outside in, even when closed.

The cabana is just a few minutes walk to one of the best beaches on the island, a 14km crescent stretch of pristine sand, with no development whatsoever, known as Praia Moçambique.
